It was my privilege to again be a part of that this year.
God sent Christians from Massachusetts, New York, and even Costa Rica!
What a wonderful group of students. It was an honor to teach, and see them each do so well as they stepped out in faith and shared Christ with children and adults.
Each student learned about and did the following:
- run a Kids Bible Club
- teach a Bible Song to kids
- lead a Bible Verse “hangman puzzle” with kids
- paint up and deliver a Bible message to kids with the paint board
- share Christ one-on-one with a kid
- draw in a crowd of adults on the streets of Boston
- preach a gospel message to adults in the open air
- share Christ one-on-one with an adult
- hand out gospel tracts to adults in the city
Please pray that each one of the students went home to their church more equipped to be effective ambassadors for Jesus Christ!
A quick testimony: I often say regarding Kid’s Ministry, that when you reach a kid, you reach the family. Well, that was very obvious because we ran a Kid’s Club in a small neighborhood, and a Muslim Man in his early 20’s came right out to talk to us. His name is Jamal and he’s from Morocco. He and I had a discussion about Muhammad’s wife, Aisha. Did you know that Muhammad married her when she was 6-years-old and he was in his 50’s? And he consummated the relationship when she was 9. Interestingly, Jamal defended this behavior.
One other train of thought I used with Jamal was to talk about the necessity for a blood sacrifice for our sins. The Old Testament is God’s Word, and it demands a blood sacrifice. The New Testament is God’s Word, and it demands a blood sacrifice. So I asked Jamal, if the Koran is God’s Word, why does it reject the need for a blood sacrifice? Sadly, Jamal insisted that the Old and New Testaments were “changed” later to include blood sacrifices. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will use the Scriptures I shared with him, and that Jamal will be made a child of God.
Well, Watch out world – 5 Christians who love Jesus, love people, and hate sin have been trained in evangelism and are heading back to their parts of the world… And the gates of hell tremble!!!
Here are some exciting photos!

Every morning starts off with Evangelism Instruction. This lesson was on Practical Street Apologetics.

This is Daniel. He came from Costa Rica to take Open Air Campaigners training with us in Boston! This was his first time giving a message to adults. Many listened and many one-on-one discussions happened. Praise God!

This is superb! Cesar wanted to talk to us, but his English wasn\'t very good. Thank God for Daniel from Costa Rica! He got to share the gospel with Cesar in Spanish; so cool!

Good Open-Air-Preaching leads to GREAT one-on-one conversations. Like this one with Eric and this sweet lady.

This is Bruce preaching in the Open Air. What\'s funny about this is that the lady on the right in white (a stranger) is video recording him with her phone. I LOVE that! That just means more people will hear the message!!!

Mike was sharing the gospel when two Lesbians walked into the front of the crowd. I'm assuming their orientation because they were holding hands walking up the street, and were wearing large rainbow necklaces. Mike treated them respectfully and they listened to the whole message without leaving. I was able to give them gospel tracts afterward and chat with them for a bit. Praise God!

Some of the most fruitful time of Kid's Ministry is when we talk to them one-on-one afterwards and take them through a gospel booklet. Here Erin is doing that with this nice girl.
Please prayerfully consider joining us next June in Boston! I can guarantee that you won’t be the same again afterward!!!
We love you and thank Jesus for you!
Thank you so much for your prayers, financial support, and notes of encouragement, without which we would not be able to reach the Lost for Jesus Christ!
Please contact us anytime and let us know how we can pray for you!
And please feel free to forward this to anyone you think would be blessed by it!
For Christ and His gospel,
Mark, Shelby, Vivienne, Juliana, Caleb, and Gabriella
