Sharing Jesus with College and University Students is definitely a highlight of the year. I love it!
God saved me as a college student 21 years ago and I am convinced God still saves college students today!
And one of the really cool things about Campus ministry is that people come from all over the world to attend Universities in New England!!!
Would you kindly pray for the following students we met?
-
Brodie: Brodie wanted to know how to know he’s saved. He didn’t own a Bible and he was really excited when I gave him one. He gave me his email address.
-
Phillip: Phillip attended AWANA growing up, but does not have a relationship with Jesus. Despite what appeared to be a good Christian upbringing, he doesn’t want anything to do with what he was taught as a kid. That’s so so sad, but I’m glad we ran into each other on campus and I was able to plead with him to know Christ.
-
Dominique: Dominique is a Jehovah’s Witness, but she took a worksheet I wrote on the Trinity. This is HUGE because Jehovah’s Witnesses are commanded not to take literature from people. She also gave me a hug. If you want to see the worksheet on the Trinity, it is available at: http://Luke-15.org/trinity.pdf.
-
Brian: Brian is a member of a dangerous cult called The Boston Church of Christ. As usual, we bantered back-and-forth over whether water baptism is required for salvation. Brian’s cult teaches that it is, and you have to be baptized by THEIR CHURCH for it to count. Honestly, it didn’t appear that I reached Brian at all, but God is powerful and able to do so much more than we think! If you want to learn more about The Boston Church of Christ, please see: http://luke-15.org/resources/#ICOC
-
Bryce: Bryce was the opposite of Brian. He was so tender-hearted and open to the gospel message. He’s heard. Now I pray he will receive Jesus as Savior and Lord.

Bryce: Bryce was the opposite of Brian. He was so tender-hearted and open to the gospel message. He took a Bible from me as well as the “Will You Go To Heaven Test.” He’s heard. Now I pray he will receive Jesus as Savior and Lord. If you want to see the “Will You Go To Heaven Test,” you can download that at: http://www.luke-15.org/good-person-test.pdf.
-
Nick: Nick is not a believer, but told me that his dad is a born-again Christian. Isn’t it cool that God prepares all these encounters? I have no doubt that Nick’s dad prays for him regularly to hear and respond to the gospel message!
-
Michael: Michael considered himself an “intellectual,” and “open,” but he had a number of logical fallacies. For instance, he said that you can’t know anything absolutely. But saying “there are no absolutes” is itself an absolute statement, so it’s self-contradictory. It’s like saying “there are no words” but using “words” to say it. Michael and I spoke for over a half hour. He took a gospel DVD from me, so that’s positive!
There are so many more individuals who were reached. The photos below tell the exciting stories…

I love University ministry and look forward to it again in the Autumn!
Please continue to pray for our family and the OAC team, especially as the BUSY summer ministry season heats up!
Thank you for your prayers, notes of encouragement, and financial support. Without all of those, we could not be reaching the lost for Jesus Christ!
Please feel free to share this with others you think would be encouraged by it, and who will pray!
all for Jesus,
Mark (and family)
