Walking a student through 'The Good Person Test' at Boston University.
I’ve just updated a very effective evangelistic tool that God has really used. It’s called “The Good Person Test.”
I’ve found this survey to be very effective in promoting conversation, and hardly anyone has gotten “offended” or “mad” over it. On the contrary, almost all conversations end with the person thanking me or my team members for the great discussion.
And when you’re done walking someone through the survey, you can give them the piece of paper to keep, and it goes with them as a gospel message they can look at later. 🙂
Here’s a true story from our ministry on the University of New Hampshire campus last Autumn. A female college student approached Chris, one of our volunteers. He asked her if she’d like to go through the “Good Person Test” to see if she’s good enough to go to Heaven.
She said immediately that she knew she wasn’t good enough because her roommate had taken the exact same “Good Person Test” from me one week before. Her roommate brought the test back to their dorm room, and left it out. This second girl picked it up, read it, realized she wasn’t good enough to go to Heaven, and when she saw us on campus, came right over to us to find out more information on having her sins forgiven!
What an amazing God we serve who works ahead of time in the hearts of people!!!
The “Good Person Test” is also helpful for Christians who aren’t trained in sharing their faith, as it provides a helpful framework.
Please feel free to click on the graphic below to download a copy of “The Good Person Test.” Please print it out and use it in your own personal evangelism. And if you want it as a Microsoft Word document, so you can edit it and add your own contact information, just let me know and I’ll get it to you.
You can always find the latest version of “The Good Person Test” at: http://luke-15.org/good-person-test.pdf.
Thank you for your prayers, notes of encouragement, and financial support. Without all of those, we could not be reaching the lost for Jesus Christ!
Please feel free to share this with others you think would be encouraged by it!
all for Jesus,
Mark (and family)
