I’d love to be able to say that every time we go out to share the gospel, thousands and thousands of people flock to us begging us to tell them what they must do to be saved. Some days it feels like that, like last time we ministered outside on a warm day. That day people were very open! (Please feel free to read about that day by clicking here.)
But it would be dishonest of me not to report the other types of days when it seems as though no one is interested. That was what it was like yesterday.
Veteran Missionary Eric Briscoe said he hasn’t seen a day like this where so many people weren’t interested in a very long time. It was hard to find people even interested in taking a gospel tract!
But God judges our faithfulness, and not results, so we’ll keep at it believing that the gospel is “the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16).
And despite the seemingly cooler hearts, I praise God that we were still able to pass out more than a hundred gospel tracts, and there were people who stopped to listen to our message (As you can see in the photo to the left.) We also encouraged some believers as a few come over to me and said “Praise God for what you’re doing.” I even got a contact from a young lady who wants to come out with us and help hand out gospel tracts! She has already emailed me about it. Praise God!Here are some photos. Please click on them to enlarge.
I thank God for your prayers, your encouragement, your financial support, and mostly I thank God for you!
all for Jesus,
Mark
