The Patriots Helped Evangelize Boston!

Anyone who knows me at all knows that I love Jesus, I love sharing Jesus with the Lost, and I love the New England Patriots! So I’m so so so excited that they won the Superbowl because it means that my team and I got a SUPERB Evangelism Opportunity! The City of Boston had a Parade for the Patriots and ONE AND A HALF MILLION PEOPLE showed up!!!

1.5 Million People all showing up within a few hours of each other meant lots of traffic, TONS of people on public transportation, and TONS AND TONS of people to talk to and give gospel tracts to!

In just a few hours, we gave out over 7,000 gospel tracts!!!

Just imagine if only a small percentage of those got read. 7,000 in a few hours! I have to believe that God will bring many people to faith and repentance because the gospel “is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16).

It was an unseasonably warm day out, and I suspect that lead to so many people coming out, and sticking around to talk.

We were squished like sardines in the subway train heading to the parade. Everyone was friendly though!

People listened to me preach Christ crucified, dead, buried, risen, coming again, and our only hope.

This is Gabby. She approached Eric because she thought God hated her. Gabby is struggling with same-sex attraction, and believes she was born that way. Eric explained that all of us are born wanting things that are sinful. We're all broken that way. But Jesus will not only forgive us but give us His Holy Spirit to change us from the inside out. Gabby cried on the spot. A powerful moment and a terrific 'Divine Appointment.' Please keep Gabby in your prayers, that she will turn to Jesus.

Miriam, right, had a great conversation with this young lady. She gladly received an evangelistic DVD and a Bible from Miriam! Praise God!

Many gathered around and listened as Eric preached a message on 'The Greatest Victory.' Hint: it wasn't the Superbowl.

As you can see, God used this parade to reach A LOT of people. I’m praying the Patriots win again next year so we can do this again!!! 🙂
