God really blesses the ministry in the subways, but I want to highlight a particular day that happened last week. It was great!
We get to hand out hundreds of gospel tracts on a good day, and I can’t even imagine how many we give out in a year. It’s not that often that we get phone calls from people we didn’t personally talk with in the subways. But from time to time people who only got a tract will call, and for that we rejoice! The other day three different people who got tracts called the phone number on the back, and two of them were people we didn’t even have a conversation with! Three in one day. That is definitely unusual, but we like that kind of unusual!
Also, the gospel was proclaimed clearly, lovingly, with urgency, a number of times. We were able to give out literature to people in their own language who were from China, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia. In addition, we typically give out lots of Spanish literature as well.
Please pray for Nekka, a Roman Catholic who Eric chatted with for quite some time. She said she doesn’t know with certainty that she’ll go to Heaven, but she said she wants to know! And she also called us back later that day for more information. How great is that???
There was also a Muslim woman from Saudi Arabia that Aaron talked with for a while. She took a Gospel of Luke in Arabic, and also a DVD on the life of Jesus in her language. Praise God! There’s a photo of her below.
