It was a pretty cold day, low 60’s, but despite the cold, we got a few open-air messages in, people stopped to listen, and some very good conversations happened!
Would you please pray for the following people who particularly stood out?:
-
Ishmael and Frank: After I preached my message, I approached two African-American men in their 20’s named Ishmael and Frank. They both were very open to the gospel message. They both promised to think about it. They both took a gospel booklet, and both promised to read the Gospel of John! Also, they’re both unemployed and looking for work, so in addition to praying for their salvation, please pray that they find work.
-
Richard: Richard is a Jewish man who chatted with Eric for quite some time. Eric gave him a copy of my testimony, A Jew and His God. Richard was open. Please pray for Richard. (There’s a photo of him below.)
-
Brian: Brian is a Christian who told me he likes to come out on the streets and hand out gospel tracts. He was very encouraged to see us on the streets and he was an encouragement to us as well. One of the benefits of street ministry is that we run into other Christians and we make each others’ day!
-
Leo: Leo is a man from Cape Verde. When Eric asked him about his walk with Christ, he said he was a Christian his whole life. He didn’t say anything about a conversion experience when he trusted Christ. He and Eric chatted for a bit and Leo left with gospel literature. It’s not our place to say if someone is saved or not – we can only tell them how to get saved. Please pray that if Leo is not truly saved, that he will indeed repent of his sin and trust in Jesus alone! (There’s a photo of Leo below.)
-
Women from Thailand: After the preaching, Eric had a chance to share the gospel with a small group of women from Thailand, and they each left with gospel literature in their own language. Please keep these ladies in your prayers. (There’s a photo of them below.)

I also had the chance to preach a new message for the first time. I recently came up with this one, and I had never preached it on the street before. It’s called “Which One is Wrong?” and it’s about 8 and a half minutes. The “before” and “after” photos are above, and the video for it is below if you’d like to check it out. Let me know what you think and please suggest any changes so I can make it better!
Thank you so much for your prayers and your partnership in the gospel! Please consider partnering with us financially, as we are not fully-funded yet and our savings is running out. As a fellow-Missionary wrote recently, “Whatever your role, whether it be going or sending, you are an essential part of the work that God is doing. Your reward in Heaven will be beyond what you can imagine.” Please click here for more info.
Thanks and God bless you!
all for Jesus,
