Yesterday was a strange one on the streets of Boston.

Mazen, a Muslim from Saudi Arabia: Aaron met a Muslim named Mazen recently, and Mazen said he was interested in learning more about Jesus. Aaron and I had an outstanding conversation with him yesterday afternoon.
Mazen took a 35-minute train ride just to meet with us. That shows interest. We chatted for an hour, and it was exciting to say the least. Even Mazen said that he is able to look into other religions here in America, but he can’t do that back at home. He’s in America for a few years to get an advanced degree, and then go back to Saudi.
Aaron asked Mazen to consider how God treated sin in the Old and New Testaments. In the Old and New Testaments, sin lead to death, and required a blood sacrifice to be atoned. That’s consistently the teaching on sin through the Bible. So why would that change in the Koran?
Mazen didn’t have an answer, but said he’d think about that.
After an hour we had to leave, but Mazen said he wanted to meet again. Please lift him up in prayer! Imagine how WONDERFUL it would be if he came to know Jesus as Savior and then went back to Saudi Arabia as a Christian Missionary to his own people!!!

Hecklers: A lot of people ask me if we often get hecklers, and I always say, “No, not really all that often.” That’s because we tend to share the gospel in a courteous way, so if people are interested, they stay and listen, and if they’re not interested, they leave. It’s unusual for someone to interrupt one of our open-air messages. So imagine how unusual yesterday was when all three of us, Eric, Aaron, and myself, each had a different heckler interrupt us while we were preaching!!!
You can see photos of the hecklers with brief descriptions below in the photos. There are no photos of me because I had the camera.

Armored Car:Right in the middle of Eric’s message, an armored car parked in the middle of the street right in front of Eric! Eric had to stop preaching. And the armored car made the people who had been listening to Eric move out of the way. A few stayed around a little bit, but when it was clear the driver wasn’t coming back right away, Eric’s crowd left.
Then when the driver eventually came back and drove off, Eric began again, only to have a heckler walk right up to him and interrupt him. Very strange day!

Thank you for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support. We couldn’t be on the field serving Christ without that.
God bless you!
all for Jesus,
Mark (and family)
