Despite the unfavorable weather, we had some great conversations, including one I had with a man who said he wanted to receive Christ right there!
I only got two photos:
In addition to praying for Erik and the two Chinese ladies, here are a few more people I’d like you to please pray for:
We had some intense situations and I’d appreciate it if you would please keep the following people in your prayers.

Angel: After one of the gospel messages in the open air, I chatted with a man in his 30’s named Angel. Despite a “rough” exterior, Angel humbly admitted his sinfulness, and didn’t try to make excuses. He told me he’s a drug addict, and that his brother died of AIDS due to his homosexuality. He said, “I know I’m a sinner every day. How can someone like me get to God?”
I told him he couldn’t “get to God” but God has already come to him when Jesus was on the earth. He took all our sin on Himself and paid the price. I told him that if he turns from his sin, and trusts in Christ, then he’d be born again and God would not only forgive him, but change him from the inside out!
Angel told me he had never heard that message before. He thought he wasn’t good enough for God. He had never heard the gospel of grace.
Angel took one of our booklets, and promised to read the Gospel of John and consider these important things.

Amiable: Amiable is a man from Rwanda in his late 20’s. He said he received Jesus as Lord five years ago, but he had questions about baptism and wasn’t sure if it was necessary to save him. He, Aaron, and myself talked to him for a bit about grace. We explained that baptism is a command from Jesus, but there are lots of commands, like attending church, tithing, fasting, et cetera. Following these are the results of salvation, not how to get saved. He said he’d think more about this.

Zara: After one of the open-air messages, Zara, a younger woman who identified herself as a “Muslim from Iran” spoke with Aaron for quite some time. She believed that all religions are good and worthwhile. That’s an unusual position for an Iranian Muslim to make. Please pray for Zara.
As you can see, we work the streets of the city because God is already there working the streets. God bless you and thank you!
in Christ,
Mark
