The way the schedule was SUPPOSED to go was that we’d train in the morning, then do adult evangelism in downtown Boston, and then run a five-day Kids Bible Club in the afternoons. But the Boston bombings happened on Monday, and that changed things. Because the Police didn’t want crowds forming in the downtown area (and that’s what we do – try to form crowds), we instead did extra Kids Bible Clubs – lots of them!
God was soooo good! In the 5-day Bible Club alone we had over 80 kids attend and give us their name and address and contact info so that the church down the street can follow-up and disciple them! (I find that very exciting!!!)
By the end of the week we were able to be downtown sharing the gospel on the streets with adults, and I’m glad, because that’s an important aspect of the ministry and I wanted this team to be exposed to that.
Please pray for the many many gospel seeds planted, and for the team of 15 Canadians who came to Boston to learn and step out in faith. My prayer is that they will be emboldened for the Lord Jesus Christ and much more apt to share the gospel with strangers and with friends wherever they go!

Here’s a fun video of one of the team members, Brandon, playing with the kids after the Bible Club. (It’s 39 seconds long)…
Also, my wife and kids came down for one of the days, and my oldest daughter, Vivienne, had a really neat blessing happen! Please feel free to read about that by clicking here.
If you’d like to schedule a team from your church to come to Boston, please contact me and we can chat about setting something up for next summer! 🙂
with love in Christ,
Mark
