Vivienne and Naoshi – One Year Later!

One of my greatest joys as a daddy is to see Jesus working through my children!

Last June, I brought my kids to a Kids Bible Club in the city, and Vivienne took it upon herself to sit with a young girl named Naoshi and take her page-by-page through a gospel booklet. It was really wonderful for me to watch!

A few weeks ago we had a 5-day Bible Club in the same location, and the very first kid I ran into at the park was Naoshi, the girl Vivienne spent time with. I asked her if her name was Naoshi, and she said yes. Then she got excited and said, “I remember you, you’re the paint guy!” And then she asked if my daughter was with me! (How cool that Naoshi remembered Vivienne!)

Sadly, Vivienne wasn’t with me that day, but it was a 5-day club, and Vivienne did come down for one of the days. I was so happy for Vivienne, that she got to learn a wonderful lesson. When we invest in someone’s life, we reap eternal rewards!

By the way, Naoshi attended all five days of our club this year and participated very well! She did all her Bible lessons and did a great job paying attention to the teaching.
