The Way of the Master Basic Training Course
Introduction:
In 2006, I was given the privilege and honor to lead an Evangelism class from The Way of the Master ministry. The class is called the Basic Training Course. You can learn more about this class at: http://www.wayofthemaster.com/btc/.
I am making available my notes and other files that may be valuable here, so that anyone can download them.
My prayer is that Christians will be edified and equipped to fulfill our purpose: to be used by God to seek and save that which is lost.

Session #1: Cultivating Compassion for the Lost:
- Lession 1 Notes: This handout contains the "point to ponder" quotation, this week's memory verse, as well as room for the student to jot down notes during the video.

- Lession 1 Letter to God: The students were asked to write out a "letter to God" expressing their fears and hopes for this class. These were sealed in envelopes and given to the instructor, but they are confidential. No one will read them. At the end of 8 sessions, the letters will be handed back to the students so they can see how God answered their prayers!

George Street: I used to think that giving out Gospel tracts was an old-fashioned way of doing evangelism. That was until I heard this short, but inspiring and convicting testimony on the use of tracts. This is a short testimony and WELL WORTH your time, in my opinion!

In his characteristic wit and humor, Comfort will make the case that you don't need to memorize facts about each cult or religion, but Biblically use the Law of God to bring about conviction of sin.
