Dear friends,
Last week I posted the videos from a 5-Day Bible Series called “Who Is Jesus?”
Please feel free to check that out here: https://luke-15.org/2022/08/new-videos-who-is-jesus-5-part-bible-series-for-kids-and-adults/
I’m happy to have ready the videos from the second series, “The Gospel Through the Patriarchs“
They’re all taught with the paint-board, which helps kids (and adults) pay attention and remember the message!
I love being the Youth Pastor at Camp because it’s an amazing opportunity to get to know the kids and teach them God’s Word.
For some of these kids, their week at Camp is all the “Church” they get all year.
I’ve said it before, but these messages are very powerful because they’re right from the Scriptures.
I believe that kids are very intelligent and can understand Theology if it is explained to them.
God’s Word is powerful because God is powerful!!!
Here are the videos for the series: “The Gospel Through the Patriarchs.”
Please feel free to watch them below. I hope they’re a blessing to you!!!
- God Saved Noah
- The Tower of Babel
- Abram Believed God
- God Judges Sin
- God Gave His Only Son
This message is from Genesis, Chapters 6-9. We learned that people did very sinful things during Noah’s day, and that’s still true today. People all over the world were guilty of sin, and God saw it. God hates sin so much that He decided to flood the world.
Because God is so good and patient and kind, He waited and gave people 120 years to repent.
There was only one way to be saved… to go through the door of the Ark. The Ark that Noah built as an act of faith.
God is kind, but He’s also just, and because of his justice, he must punish sin.
God saved Noah and his family and they offered a sacrifice as a picture of the final sacrifice to come, Jesus Christ. The rainbow is a reminder of God’s promise that He will never again flood the world.
In Noah’s day, God warned the people that He would flood the world, gave them time to repent, and offered one way of salvation.
It’s the exact same today. Now God warns us that, because of our sins, He will burn the world with fire. He gives us time now to repent, and offers one way of salvation: the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We don’t want to be like the people in Noah’s day who didn’t believe God and paid for it eternally.

This video teaches Genesis, Chapter 11, the Tower of Babel.
After God preserved the human race through Noah, He commanded everyone to spread out through the world. People refused to obey God. They were so brazen in their sin and built a great tower, because, in their own words, “This will make us famous and keep us from being scattered all over the world” (Genesis 11:4).
God said, “scatter all over the world,” and the people said, “no! Let’s build a tower for our honor instead.”
Interestingly, God referred to Himself in the plural (God said, “Let US,” a reference to the Trinity.)
To make the people do what they were told, (spread out throughout the earth,) God confused their language and made many many languages.
The people who spoke the same language grouped together and spread out throughout the earth, the very thing God commanded them to do from the start, but that they refused to do.
In the end, God got His way (of course!) but people received the consequences for disobedience.
This has great application for us today and is a great part of this 5-part series.

This video teaches from Genesis, Chapters 12-15. People all over the world were refusing to follow the True God, making up their own religions.
In His kindness, God saw Abram and promised to make a great nation from him. But for that to happen, he needed a son. There was a problem, he was 75, and his wife, 65. But Abram believed God!
In fact, from his descendants would come the final and ultimate Deliverer who was first promised in Genesis 3, Jesus Christ!
God also told Abram to leave everything he knew, and Abram proved his faith was genuine because he did as God said.
God blessed him so much, and his flocks increased so much, that there was strife between his people and his nephew, Lot’s people.
So Abram gave Lot the choice which way to go, and Lot went toward Sodom and Gomorrah. That location lead to death, while going away from there was life.
God told Abram that his descendants would be as numerous as the stars in the sky. Abram believed God, and God counted it to Abram as if he were righteousness.
Belief, or faith, is what makes us right with God. That was true back then, and that’s still true today!!!

This video teaches Genesis, Chapters 18-19. What would you think of a Judge who let criminals go free? That would be a terrible Judge! God is not a terrible Judge. He will punish sin. But He gives people a chance to repent.
God told Abraham that He would make an example of Sodom and destroy it. If there were only 10 people in the whole city who followed God, then God would spare the city.
Instead of finding 10 people following God, the opposite was true. When some newcomers came to town to stay with Lot, the men of the town demanded that Lot let them have the men to do things to them too horrible to mention.
Because the men were really angels in disguise, they were able to escape, and warned Lot to leave and not look back.
Lot and his family escaped, except Lot’s wife, who looked back longingly and paid for it with her life. Sin has deadly consequences. Our sin has deadly consequences too, but we’ll find out the cure… in the next lesson!

This video teaches from Genesis, Chapters 21-22. God promised a nation through Abraham when he was 75 years old. 25 years later, at age 100, he miraculously had a son, Isaac. No Isaac – no nation.
So imagine Abraham’s emotions when God called him to sacrifice his only son!
But Abraham believed God and passed the test of faith.
God provided a lamb to save the life of Isaac, and this lamb is a picture, or a preview, of what God’s final Lamb, Jesus, would do.
Jesus died and rose from the dead to take the place of those who repent of their sins and trust in His work on the cross!
In Noah’s time, God saw sin and warned that he would flood the earth, and there was one way to escape. Most people mocked, but a few took the escape.
With Sodom and Gomorrah, God saw sin, and there was one way to escape. Most mocked, but a few took the escape.
The exact same thing is happening today. God sees our sin, promises punishment, and most people mock. Still, some people take the only way to escape. The only way to escape is through Jesus Christ! Repent and Believe (Turn and Trust).
